Bridge the Gap! is a 501c3 Charitable Foundation established in New York in 1999 as Giving Something Back on LI, Inc. by a group of community minded business professionals.  Since then we have donated much needed money, food, clothing and school supplies to needy children in New York and New Jersey. Beginning this year (2009) we are expanding our efforts into Pennsylvania as well.  Over 50 local organizations, and more than 1000 families have been beneficiaries of a Bridge the Gap direct donation or sponsored program, many of whom would have had no financial or other support because they failed to qualify for government assistance.
Bridge the Gap!, which was founded as Giving Something Back on LI, Inc., is a Registered Charity in New York (Reg. No. 06-72-14), New Jersey (Reg No. CH3150000) and Pennsylvania (Reg. No. 36757).  Copies of our annual report can be obtained by writing to us, or through the Office of Attorney General, State of New York, our state of formation.  We are not endorsed by any governmental authority or agency.
